Doina Chiosa - winner of the business plan competition of the "Women - today's leaders" project. Tomorrow's peace".

This young woman was empowered with entrepreneurial skills within the Entrepreneurship Course implemented by the "Help" Public Association from the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the Inovatrium Association from Romania, with the support of UN Women Moldova and funding from the Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund.

Thanks to the acquired knowledge and skills, Doina developed an innovative idea, wrote her dream on paper and turned it into a future business with tangible results, thanks to the recently signed Grant Agreement. Her project consists in opening a private psychotherapy practice.

Doina states that this project has contributed to strengthening the position of women in business, creating jobs and combating stereotypes regarding the superiority of men in the field of business. She emphasizes the importance of financial independence for women, expressing her honor to be one of the grant competition winners and anticipating important events in the future.

"A woman who will have financial security will have a much lower degree of vulnerability and greater self-confidence! I feel honored to be one of the winners of the grant contest! A lot is about to happen, stay here to find out more details...", Doina confessed.

The good of women also means the good of society and economic growth in a state. Financial independence ensures women a decent and dignified life and can protect them from acts of abuse or violence.
